Brief Description of Works Performed
Repair of damaged floor area in pasting section (8m x 10m long), driveway in formation (2.2m x 18m t 1.2. x 6m), inert gas section (10m x 12.5m), acid filling area (7m x 6m) and assembly hall (3m wide x 25m long)
Works included: - Demolition works: Hacked the existing tarmac floor finish in the paste area, acidic filling area, inert gas section, driveway in the formation area and demolition of the existing floor slab in the assembly hall.
Concrete works: Cast concrete of 150mm thick, reinforced with A142 BRC (measured elsewhere) and finish smooth with a steel float in the assembly hall and Cast concrete of 150mm thick, laid to slopes on all sides to allow easy drainage of waste water from the floor surface in the formation area, inert gas section and paste area.
Floor finish: Asphalt concrete surfacing- Prepared concrete floor surfaces and sprayed with recommended prier SS60 to receive Asphalt Premix. Laid Premix on the prepared concrete surface to achieve a uniform Asphalt layer of 50mm thickness after compaction.
