Assignment Name: Renovation of A Classroom Block at Kitamba Primary School.

Brief Description of Works Performed
- Demolition of the existing roof structure and re-roof using Gauge 28 prepainted galvanized roofing sheets fixed on 100 x 50mm timber purlins; demolition of walls and Removal of two course of brick work and Construct a ring beam size (200mm x 200mm)
- Wall and floor finishes: 20mm thick Cement and Sand rendered to wall and apply three coats of weather guard emulsion paint and Three coats of bituminous paint on 200 x 15mm rendered skirt. 30mm floor screed troweled smooth finished with 2 coats of Epoxy Floor Paint.
- Windows and Doors: Fabrication of steel casement windows size (1.2 x 1.2m) and half glazed metallic door size 900 x 2100mm high including a 250mm diameter pad steel bolt and painted using gloss oil paint.
- Fixtures: 13mm Celotex Pinboard size 2400mm x 1200mm high and apply one coat and two finishing coats emulsion paint on to surfaces of pinboards and Construction of Chalkboard Size (4000m x 1500mm high) with 75 x 20mm wooden chalk rail supported by steel brackets spaced at 1500mm centre to centre- 20mm thick Cement/lime/sand (1:2:9) plaster to walls / chalkboard surface steel troweled smooth and painted with 3 coats of black bituminous paint and one coat undercoat and two coats of gloss oil paint to chalk rails.
- Mechanical Installations: Supply and fix rain Water System using 140mm Gutter complete with gutter unions fascia clip to timber fascia board 2225mm x 20mm.
- Lightning Protection: Supply and installation of 1200mm x 20mm Solid Copper Bond earth rod with all its connections.
